As a functional medicine provider, I will not take the place of your primary care provider. I would love to collaborate with your PCP to help you reach your health goals and overcome areas you are stuck. I will not stop or start any prescriptions you are currently taking. I do not provide primary care services.

I will combine a thoughtful, personalized approach with clear communication of the process and steps needed to reach the results you are seeking. Functional medicine is not a quick fix, it is a lifestyle.
It’s not just what I do—it’s how I do it that sets me apart. I will spend the time to take a detailed health history during a 90 minute intake visit. This involves multiple screening forms based on clues from your unique timeline. From there we will discuss your biggest concerns and start working with in depth lab testing that will guide us as a team, in creating your personalized health plan.
You are the star of the show. My purpose is to guide you along your journey towards feeling your best. I will give you honest recommendations along the way, not just saying what I think you want to hear.
Like you, I don’t like to waste money. Functional labs are expensive (but worth it when you get the information you need). I will not order anything that you do not need. The same goes with supplements. I prefer to use nutrition and lifestyle as my first line of treatment.
Visits are offered via our HIPPA compliant telehealth platform. You can schedule yourself and choose days and times that work best for you. I plan to offer evening and weekend appointments as the business grows.

Unfortunately, health insurance does not cover the cost of functional labs, healthcare visits, or therapeutic interventions like meal plans or supplements.
You can use your FSA / HSA card to pay for services. There is also an option for payment plans if you choose.
After your initial consultation I will provide a transparent healthcare quote with no hidden costs. This will allow you to make an informed decision.

Functional medicine addresses the whole person, not just an isolated set of symptoms. A functional medicine practitioner will spend more time with their patients, take detailed health histories and look at the interactions between environmental, lifestyle, and genetic factors that influence your health.
We evaluate how environmental inputs - from the food we eat to the body wash we clean ourselves with - can effect your health and well being. There is consideration of mind-body connections because psychological and social factors can have a profound effect on your health and well being.
Promoting wellness by focusing on the fundamental underlying factors that influence every patient’s experience of health and disease is a top priority in functional medicine.

In Greek mythology, Panacea (pa·nuh·see·uh) is the goddess of universal remedy. Her name means “a cure-all”. So when the time to choose a name for my healing space it was a no-brainer!!!
Panacea is often depicted with a potion or elixir, symbolizing her ability to heal all ailments. She focuses on the curative power of substances. Her story represents the enduring human desire for a single (ie: simple) solution to all health problems. As a healthcare provider, her name resonates with my pursuit of comprehensive healing strategies.
Her Relevance to Modern Health and Nutrition
In modern health and nutrition, we strive for holistic approaches that consider the interconnection of various factors influencing well-being. This includes:
Nutrition: Understanding the impact of diet on overall health and disease prevention.
Lifestyle: Recognizing the importance of exercise, sleep, and stress management.
Mental Health: Acknowledging the link between mental and physical well-being.
Integrative Medicine: Exploring complementary therapies alongside conventional treatments.
While a single "cure-all" may not exist, a comprehensive and personalized approach to health, encompassing these elements, embodies the spirit of Panacea. By embracing a holistic view of health and integrating various approaches to care, we can strive for a modern-day understanding of her universal remedy. Her legacy reminds us that true health encompasses not just the absence of disease, but a state of complete physical and mental well-being. description
