Hi, I’m Angi…

My education and clinical experience are diverse. After completing a BA in Psychology in 1994, I decided to go to nursing school. I became a Registered Nurse in 1997, and a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2009. I have worked in surgery, behavioral health, and Neuro intensive care as a RN. My experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner started in Internal Medicine, and then transitioned into Family Practice and Pediatrics for the past 10 years. I have completed a post-master’s graduate certificate (30 hours of graduate-level course work) in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States in Oregon. I am board certified by the Institute for Functional Medicine / International Board for Functional Medicine Certification, and have training in adult and pediatric functional healthcare through the Functional Medicine Academy.

Panacea Functional Health was born as a way to spend more time with patients who want to unravel the “why” of their symptoms, and to dig deeper into labs that you can’t get at your PCP’s office (I know, because I have been a PCP). I offer one-on-one consultations for individuals who want to better understand their health patterns and take practical steps towards improved wellness. My services compliment - not replace - the care from your primary care provider.

However, the MAIN reason is I want to help you learn how you can heal yourself, using healthy foods, clean water, movement and self-care methods. I want to be your health strategist, nutrition coach, and cheerleader all in one!
